To date WeForest has planted over 6 million trees in its equatorial planting sites. The forests deliver a direct revenue stream to the local communities through employment in the planting itself, and through income generated from the sale of produce created from agro-forestry, linking the livelihoods of the community to the success of the forest.
Ecobrand hope to engage its audiences with the work WeForest is doing. Trees can act as an effective currency, and tool, for engaging consumers with a corporate’s sustainability and CSR strategy.
